EOTA Education Outweighs Them All was founded in 1989 by president, David "Poppy" Sanderson, an athletic trainer at Trenton Central High School in Trenton, New Jersey. The company's unique educational logo, embroidered only on the finest sports apparel, is a constant reminder to student athletes of the importance of education and the value of sports as a vehicle to assist students in their educational endeavors.

The Logo has been associated with: NBA Players Association, Summer Educational Womens Basketball Coaches Association, WBCA, Kodak Joint Effort Community Sports Program.
The Joint Effort Community Sports Program has been a sponsor and supporter of EOTA since 1990 because of the message.
